15 Creative Examples of HTML5 Websites

While HTML5 is in its early stages in the market, it shows great potential and many experts expect it to have a promising future. HTML5 is an upgrade to its predecessor and incudes many advanced features, such as a video streaming feature, animation and interactivity support. These new features promote HTML5 to be one of the next powerful trends in the  web market. Many HTML5 websites have already started to show up and use the new features in a creative way that meets with the Web 2.0 style.

Many users see that HTML5 may be the next trend after Flash and it can knock down the king of interactive content. This is because HTML5 is easy to load, it does not consume the machine resources, and it can be used for many devices including Apple mobile devices, such as the iPad and the iPhone. Actually, taking a closer look, anyone can observe that Flash is more advanced in interactive content, at least this is the current situation. Although HTML5 can do interactivity and animation, it cannot compete with Flash to create full cartoon animations, a complete training course or a more complex animation.

A fair comparison says that both HTML5 and Flash will have their own niche in the market. While HTML5 will be able to provide basic web interaction, Flash will be more about animation and hard-coding applications. This is because of the improved animation and ActionScript 3. It would be great to hear your opinion about the relation between Flash and HTML5 and if you think they will compete or complement each other.

Many web designers and studios push HTML5 to the edge of creativity and use it to create amazing websites that provide the real experience HTML5 is capable of. The following 15 examples of HTML5 websites showcase some of these. We would like to hear from you about this new design experience and what you think of it.
